I'm Summer, a live wedding guest portrait artist specializing in live watercolor guest portraits for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout the Chicagoland area.

After majoring in Studio Art at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!), I realized years had passed and I lost touch with illustration and painting. So, I decided to pick up a paintbrush and re-learn my love of art! When I saw someone painting guest portraits on TikTok, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue!

I started Sumthing Artsy LLC in 2026, painting at weddings and events throughout Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland area. While still working as a graphic designer by day, I hope to grow my portrait painting business into a full-time endeavor in the future!

My goal is to give couples and hosts a unique experience that goes beyond traditional party favors. Each portrait is hand-painted with care, creating a one-of-a-kind memory your guests will treasure for years to come.
